Our Story: A Legacy of Experience and Commitment

The Clinton Group’s foundation is built on deep experience, long-standing relationships, and an unwavering commitment to putting clients first. Our journey began in January 2000 when Chris started his career as a financial advisor with A.G. Edwards, rising to become a branch manager and navigating the firm’s transitions through Wachovia and eventually Wells Fargo. Meanwhile, his longtime business partner, Jeff, started with Prudential in 1995 and remained with the firm as it evolved through Wachovia and Wells Fargo.

For years, we dedicated ourselves to our clients, and in 2016, we recognized an opportunity to better serve them by moving our practice to Baird. A year before that transition, we welcomed Jena Burrows to our team. Like Chris, Jena also started her career at A.G. Edwards, working in another branch before joining us in 2015. Her experience navigating the same industry shifts made her a natural fit for our team.

In 2017, our move to Baird was driven by a shared belief in integrity, independence, and personalized service. It was the right decision for our clients and for us, allowing us to operate with the same values that had guided us from the beginning.

In 2022, we suffered a tremendous loss when Jeff passed away. His dedication, wisdom, and kindness continue to inspire us every day. His legacy remains at the heart of what we do.

Over time, our team grew. Casey Walker joined us three years ago, bringing valuable experience from Wells Fargo’s banking side, further enhancing our ability to provide holistic financial planning. And in 2024, we welcomed Jake, strengthening our team's ability to serve clients with the same commitment and excellence that have defined us from the start.

Through it all, The Clinton Group has remained steadfast in our mission of helping clients navigate their financial futures with confidence. With decades of experience, a shared history, and a passion for financial planning, we are committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
